Down with Homework!!

I’m supposed to be reading and gettting ready to write a 10 page paper that is due on Monday.  But I’m hanging out on MySpace finding cool new local bands to go see and sending messages to friends. 

Tomorrow is going to be hell if I don’t start something soon.

I’m just so distracted.  I have a date tomorrow night with a cute, nice man.  6 days ago, my ex sent me a text message.  Yes “THE” ex.  An older guy from work that has liked me for 2 years just called to say hello.  And yesterday this younger guy that I have wanted to tackle and strip down since he first smiled at me indicated that he might be interested in hanging out sometime.  Man, a 20-something guy.  It’s been a while, might be fun

I can’t believe I stayed away from men for this long. Ten months  Yes, there was The Vegan Guy, but I never had any emotion invested in it.  Plus, we only went on two dates.  And don’t forget The Holy Roller; also only two dates.  And then there was….

OK, so I haven’t stayed away, really away from men for 10 months. It was 6 months off, 1 on, 2 off, 1 on.  Like Dexter, I admit I have an addiction.   I’ve also learned, just like Carrie, I make bad choices in men.

But she lives happily ever after, so I believe I can too.
